Privacy Notice
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This notice explains how Mosoroto Holdings handles information collected through this website and enquiries, with reference to South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who to contact
Mosoroto Holdings is responsible for the personal information it collects for its business purposes. Contact us about privacy, access, correction or deletion at Info@mosoroto.co.za or 015 483 0016. Please mark your enquiry “Privacy / Information Officer”.
No. 1144 Masodi Village, Mokopane, 0600, South Africa.
Information and purposes
- Enquiries: the name, contact details and message you choose to provide, together with related correspondence, help us respond, prepare quotations and discuss services. Providing information is voluntary; without enough detail or a way to reply, we may not be able to assist.
- WhatsApp form: information entered stays in the form until you choose “Continue in WhatsApp”. That action passes the details to WhatsApp in a prepared message URL. You must send the message in WhatsApp for it to reach us. WhatsApp may process the prepared details before you send them. You can contact us by phone or email instead.
- Website delivery and security: our hosting infrastructure receives technical information, such as your IP address and the requested resource, to deliver the site. The hosting provider may retain access and security logs.
- Website analytics: Google Analytics loads on page entry and receives basic measurements about visits and interactions without analytics cookies before you choose or if you reject. Accepting enables analytics cookies and cookie identifiers for more detailed measurement. Google receives network information, including your IP address, as part of these requests. Reports help us understand use of the site and interest in our services. The website’s custom events do not include your name, email address, phone number or message.
We request consent for analytics cookies. Basic measurement without analytics cookies supports our interest in understanding website use. Depending on the enquiry, responding and keeping related business records may be necessary for steps towards a contract, our legitimate business interests, or a legal obligation. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Service providers and overseas processing
Relevant information may be handled by personnel responding to enquiries and providers of hosting, email, communications and analytics services. Google Analytics and WhatsApp are third-party services and may process information outside South Africa, including in countries with different privacy laws. POPIA requires a permitted basis for such transfers, such as adequate protection under law or a binding agreement, or another applicable section 72 ground.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy for their practices. Social media links take you to those services; their policies then apply.
Retention and protection
Enquiry and business records should be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose, relevant contractual or legal requirements, or resolving a dispute. Contact us for the retention period applicable to your records. Cookie lifetimes are described in the Cookie Policy; deleting a cookie does not delete information already received by a service provider.
POPIA requires reasonable safeguards against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Please do not put identity documents, banking details, health information or other unnecessary sensitive information into the enquiry form.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable legal requirements, you may request access to your personal information, request correction or deletion, object to qualifying processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
at any time. Rejecting analytics does not prevent browsing or making an enquiry. Changing from acceptance to rejection clears analytics cookies and switches to measurement without analytics cookies.
You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa), including through its published POPIA complaint channels. Information about access-to-records requests is available in the Regulator’s PAIA guidance. Contact us for assistance with a request relating to Mosoroto.
Regulator contact: POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za, 010 023 5200, Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191.
